"Passep'ART de jeunes" is a local initiative that aims to promote youth participation in local area and promote contemporary art. In one aspect of contemporary art, youth mobility, discovery, learning new skills. Enable young people to actively participate in local life and to assist in the integration of them.
"Passep'ART de jeunes" is a workshop of active citizenship, which allows the young to be in society. The group of participants will discover, for 15 months of the project, how to run their city, with contemporary art as a tool.
The project will run from July 2011 - end of October 2012.
Participants will look for artists (use of new media and explore contemporary art), share contacts and enjoy the works found (linguistic aspect), preparing exhibitions (responsibility), animate exhibitions and private viewings open to public. Every two months we will present the works of several artists, with a presentation of their countries (prepared by the participants) in an interactive way, involving the public in the discussion, participation (use of games, quizzes on the country. .). The evening exhibition will be conducted in an atmosphere of international solidarity, tolerance and enhance cultural differences across countries.
Passep’Art de jeunes is initiated by Creactivitae, financed by Youth in Action Programme and the local partners.
You're the artist, what we can offer to you :
# organise an exhibition of your art (duration 2 weeks - 2 months max)
# print your photos/drawings/photos of paintings (all include in budget in the project) ///Max.50 photos,.. minimum 300 DPI, format A3///
# create and diffuse the posters
# promote your art on the local level in the Pays de Dinan (local medias, network)
# intercultural animation, presentation about the country of the artist

In budget of the project there's no money to let the artist come for the vernissage/exhibition. If you want to come, it's up to you.
The pieces of art are only presented in frame of the project "Passep'ART the jeunes", on the website, and the materials with result of the project (DVD / small book)in period July 2011 - October 2012. Participation of artist is free.
